Introduction

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet the resort’s standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and cost management to maintain efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and compliance with food regulations.
  • Contribute to menu planning and innovation, ensuring fresh and exciting offerings.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a hotel, resort, or fine dining establishment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a kitchen team.
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen management.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant culinary qualification is advantageous.
