Retail Assistant - 5-Star Hotel - Stellenbosch

The company is looking for a Retail Assistant to join the Capri team. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-class customer service and increasing the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation.

• Maintain control of stocks in area of responsibility.
• Greeting customers who enter the shop.
• Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
• Styling the clients according to their body type, etc.
• Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
• Stocking shelves with merchandise.
• Reporting discrepancies and problems to the manager.
• Balancing cash register with receipts.
• Dealing with customer refunds.
• Keeping the store tidy and neat.
• Responsible for dealing with customer’s complaints.
• Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
• Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
• Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock.

• Grade 12.
• Preferably 1 - 2 years’ previous retail assistant experience.
• Basic administration skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Customer service focus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele.
• Enthusiastic personality.
• Reliable and adaptable.
• Ability to work under pressure.
