Key Responsibilities:
Personally recognize and welcome all guests, including return visitors, using their names and ensuring a smooth dining experience.
Learn and understand all menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to confidently answer guest questions and take orders.
Recommend wine, liquor, and food pairings to enhance the dining experience.
Prepare thoroughly for each service period, ensuring all stations, supplies, and equipment are set and maintained.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding guest expectations and special requests, and monitor food quality.
Upsell beverages, appetizers, and desserts to boost revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
Operate the Micros P.O.S. system to place orders, manage guest checks, and process payments accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and order at all tables and service areas, and report any maintenance concerns.
Assist with room setup, lighting, ambiance, and guest seating when needed; handle reservations and provide Room Service as required.
