We are seeking a skilled 2nd Cook - Pastry to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and decorating pastries, cakes, cookies, and other desserts while ensuring quality and consistency. You will collaborate with the culinary team to fulfill special event orders and contribute to seasonal menu creations. The ideal candidate has strong baking skills, knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute high-quality pastries and desserts.
  • Decorate cakes, cookies, and other confections with creativity.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain and operate specialized pastry equipment.
  • Work closely with chefs to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in pastry or baking.
  • Culinary training or an associate degree in baking and pastry arts is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and artistic presentation skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
