Introduction

Our company is looking for energetic and positive people to join a luxury hospitality team known for creating unforgettable guest experiences. As a Junior Security Supervisor, you’ll help keep guests and staff safe by checking buildings, watching security cameras, and responding to emergencies. You’ll also make sure safety procedures and equipment are working properly, and provide support when needed to ensure everyone feels secure and cared for.
 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Security investigations and risk assessments are carried out thoroughly and professionally.

  • Services are delivered efficiently to ensure guests are satisfied.

  • Security operations and teams are supervised to maintain high standards.

  • Staff members receive regular emergency training, including safety and evacuation drills.

  • Policies, procedures, and standards are followed to guide the work of the security teams.

  • Risks are assessed regularly, and preventive measures are put in place.

  • Efforts are made to reduce incidents involving loss or damage to guest, company, or third-party property.

  • All personal and company information is kept strictly confidential.

  • Staff members are expected to show strong personal and professional integrity.

  • Safety and security incidents, including injuries on duty, are actively reduced.

  • Health, safety, and security rules are followed and promoted throughout the workplace.

  • Areas where waste can be reduced are identified to help save costs.

  • Hazards and risks are minimized to create a safer environment.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • A matric certificate is required.

  • Formal education in security is beneficial and will be considered an advantage.

  • The candidate must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • The ability to think critically and respond appropriately to situations is essential.

  • A working knowledge of management practices and principles is required.

  • The candidate must be able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • The ability to work in a team, collaborate across departments, and contribute to building high-performance teams is important.
