We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Field Guide to join a luxury safari lodge team. The ideal candidate will have a deep respect for nature, excellent guiding skills, and the ability to deliver unforgettable experiences to guests through informative and engaging game drives and bush walks.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>

- Conduct morning and afternoon game drives, as well as bush walks, providing guests with an authentic and educational safari experience.
<\/span><\/li>- Share in -depth knowledge of wildlife, flora, fauna, and ecosystems in an engaging and professional manner.
<\/span><\/li>- Ensure the safety and comfort of guests at all times while in the field.
<\/span><\/li>- Maintain game drive vehicles and equipment in excellent working order.
<\/span><\/li>- Assist with conservation and reserve management initiatives where required.
<\/span><\/li>- Support lodge operations by interacting with guests in a friendly, professional manner outside of activities.
<\/span><\/li>- Adhere to all reserve and lodge rules, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements:<\/b>

<\/div>- Nature Site Guide qualification (NQF2).
<\/span><\/li>- Current PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
<\/span><\/li>- Valid First Aid certificate.
<\/span><\/li>- Rifle handling proficiency (ARH) and DEAT registration advantageous.
<\/span><\/li>- Previous experience as a field guide in a Big 5 reserve is highly preferred.
<\/span><\/li>- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with guests of diverse backgrounds.<\/span>
<\/li>- <\/span>Commitment to conservation and sustainable tourism practices.
<\/li><\/ul>
