A well-established hotel is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to deliver exceptional front office service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure, while upholding the high service standards of the organisation.

Ensure all guests are checked in and checked out professionally, efficiently and courteously
Maintain a high standard of personal service to all guests, internal and external customers
Adhere strictly to front office policies and procedures, including front desk and switchboard duties
Handle guest queries relating to reservations, in-house requests, payments and post-departure services
Manage incoming messages, mail, deliveries and packages
Assist with reservations after hours or in the absence of the Reservations department
Support the Sales & Marketing team by promoting hotel facilities and services
Ensure effective communication between Reception and all operational departments
Stay informed of hospitality industry trends and suggest improvements to front desk operations
Assist with the induction and training of new staff members and students
Carry out additional duties as required by management from time to time
