A well -established private game reserve located along the scenic Garden Route is seeking a a pair of passionate and knowledgeable Field Guides to join its guiding team. Key Responsibilities:<\/span>
<\/p>

• Conduct immersive game drives and guided bush walks with guests, ensuring a high standard of safety and engagement.<\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Share in -depth knowledge of the local flora, fauna, birdlife, and ecosystems of the Garden Route region.<\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Deliver consistently exceptional guest experiences with professionalism, passion, and attention to detail.<\/span>
  <\/span>Assist with reserve conservation and wildlife monitoring initiatives where required.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Maintain all equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.<\/span>

• Represent the reserve’s values and conservation ethos in all guest and team interactions.<\/span>

  Requirements<\/h3>

  Minimum Requirements:<\/span>
  <\/p>

  • Minimum 3 years' guiding experience in a luxury safari setting.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • CATHSSETA NQF2 or NQF4 Nature Site Guide accreditation (theory and practical completed).<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Registered with the National Department of Tourism (NDT).<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • SASSETA Firearms Proficiency Certificates, if operating in rifle -required zones.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Strong, confident 4x4 driving ability; must hold a valid South African Code 8 Driver’s License and PDP.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Advantageous:<\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Additional languages (especially Afrikaans, German, or French).<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Photography or birding interests and knowledge.<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Basic maintenance or hospitality skills.<\/span>
