We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Field Guide to join a team dedicated to creating exceptional safari experiences for guests. The successful candidate will play a vital role in leading game drives and bush walks, delivering insightful and safe wildlife encounters, and acting as an ambassador for conservation and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>

  • Conduct morning and afternoon game drives, providing guests with an informative, safe, and memorable experience.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Share knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and the natural environment with enthusiasm and professionalism.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on wildlife movements and ecological conditions.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Maintain vehicles, equipment, and guiding tools to the highest standard.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Ensure compliance with reserve and safety protocols at all times.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Contribute to guest engagement outside of activities, enhancing the overall lodge experience.

  • Support conservation and community initiatives as part of the guiding team.

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Recognised guiding qualification(s) suitable for legal operation in South Africa.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Current First Aid certificate.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Valid driver’s licence with professional driving permit (PrDP).
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage international guests.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • A genuine passion for wildlife, conservation, and guest service.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Flexibility to work in a remote environment with an irregular schedule.
