A Luxury Hotel is looking for a strong and passionate F&B MANAGER


A premier property in Mpumalanga is seeking a seasoned Food & Beverage Manager to lead its dynamic F&B operations across multiple venues, including banqueting and conferencing. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight, focusing on elevating guest experiences, driving innovation, and ensuring financial performance.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a 4 or 5 star hospitality environment
  • Proven track record in managing food and beverage operations
  • Experience in banqueting and conferencing
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
  • Valid South African ID
  • Strong financial acumen (budgets, cost control, profit margins)
  • Advanced stock control; POS, PMS & inventory systems (APEX/NEBULA & PlusPoint beneficial)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Excellent English communication (spoken & written)
  • Leadership, training, and team motivation
  • Guest-centric with a flair for innovation in F&B experiences
Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily F&B service, maintain quality and hygiene standards, manage inventory and equipment, support menu planning and promotional activities, and ensure accurate financial reconciliation
  • Guide and develop staff through coaching, meetings, performance reviews, and cross-training; foster a respectful and high-performing team culture
  • Manage payroll, budgets, and employee records; monitor costs, forecast operational needs, and leverage systems for reporting and scheduling
  • Resolve complaints, drive service excellence, respond to feedback, and ensure consistent product and service quality across all touchpoints
