Introduction

We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead the kitchen team at our hotel in East London. This role requires a dynamic leader with creative flair, strong management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation across restaurants, in-room dining, and events.
  • Create and innovate menus 
  • Manage food costs, budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships.
  • Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen brigade to consistently deliver service excellence.
  • Uphold hygiene, health, and safety standards in line with HACCP regulations.
  • Collaborate with F&B and Events teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Monitor guest feedback and adjust offerings to enhance satisfaction.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements:

  • Recognised culinary qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a 4/5-star hotel 
  • Strong knowledge of international food trends, menu engineering, and cost management.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining and event experiences.
