Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Community Projects Manager to join a prestigious luxury wine estate based in Franschhoek. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading internal community-building strategies, developing meaningful wellbeing programmes, and leading impactful upliftment initiatives. Requirements:
A relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in community management, staff wellbeing, or a similar people-centred role
Demonstrated success in planning and implementing upliftment and wellness initiatives
Fluent in Afrikaans and English, both written and spoken
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Creative, self-motivated, and passionate about community development and wellbeing
Strong organisational and project management skills
Empathetic, inclusive, and positive approach to people and team dynamics

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage strategic community engagement initiatives within the organisation
Coordinate and implement wellness programmes, mental health campaigns, and staff support activities
Lead various upliftment projects, including volunteering, mentoring, and social impact campaigns
Organise and facilitate events for both employees and the estate’s Aftercare Centre
Create and promote awareness campaigns that support community development goals
Collect, monitor, and evaluate feedback and participation data to optimise programme effectiveness
Foster a culture of inclusivity, engagement, and wellbeing across all departments
