The Opportunity: The Beach Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional service to members and guests at the club’s beach area. This individual ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while assisting with the setup and breakdown of beach amenities, monitoring safety protocols, and anticipating the needs of guests. The ideal candidate is friendly, proactive, and service-oriented, with a strong commitment to upholding the club’s high standards.

Duties and Functions

• Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit.
• Set up and break down umbrellas, lounge chairs, towels, and recreational equipment daily.
• Monitor beach area to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist guests with carrying beach items and locating available seating.
• Provide information about club amenities, activities, and beach rules.
• Maintain cleanliness of the beach area by collecting trash and organizing furniture.
• Monitor weather conditions and assist with evacuations or closures as needed.
• Support food and beverage staff by delivering orders when needed or relaying guest requests.
• Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment issues to management promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth beach operations and a positive guest experience.

Qualification Standards

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in hospitality, recreation, or beach services preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain attentive and service-focused in a high-paced environment.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
