Warehouse Attendant

Essential Functions

The following functions are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work performed.  The omission of specific duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position.

• Receive deliveries, inspect them for accuracy and quality, records details in the inventory system.
• Ensure all items match the purchase orders and report any discrepancies.
• Filling orders accurately based on customer orders.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts report low levels to management.
• Make sure the work area is clean, neat and safe always.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Attention to detail.
• Physical stamina, this position requires an extended amount of time standing and lifting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of computer use / basic knowledge.
• The ability to read, write, and execute basic math skills.

Licenses and Special Requirements

Physical Requirements

The work requires the regular exertion of up to 50 pounds of force and frequent exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires standing for long periods of time, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, bending, stretching, and twisting or reaching, using hands to finger, handling or feeling and repetitive motions,  pushing, pulling or lifting up to 50 pounds. Work has regular vision requirements, vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data. Work has some exposure to environmental conditions. Work in hot, humid, and noisy environment with heavy  traffic.
