Our Tennis Shop Attendant acts as the liaison for all member services, products and information in the pro shop.
The Role
The Tennis Shop Attendant position is responsible for providing exceptional service for members, their guests and families by assisting the operations and functions of the tennis pro shop. Weekday afternoons from 2pm to 8pm is the preferred shift but can add weekend hours if needed.
Overview of Job Duties
- Handles point of sale transactions
- Monitors and makes court reservations
- Answers all incoming calls and member inquiries
- Responsible for upkeeping floor displays, shop setup and cleanliness
- Help organize and assist with tennis events and tournaments
- Performs court maintenance such as, but not limited to: filling water coolers, brushing/lining courts, stocking cups and towels
QualificationsWhat You Will Need to Be GREAT
- Previous customer service experience is required; tennis knowledge is a plus but not a requirement
- Possess a passion for exceeding expectations and delivering ‘WOW service’
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to teamwork and collaborating with others
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds
- Able to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds
- Able to regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear
- Able to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
