Technician (Royale Chulan Penang - ICE UITM 2025)

Job Description:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and mechanical systems.
2. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and other departments.
3. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment and fixtures throughout the hotel.
4. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
5. Maintain proper documentation of daily work orders, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
6. Ensure all safety and health regulations are followed in work practices.
7. Assist in emergency response efforts related to facility or equipment failures.

Requirements:

• SPM or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services is preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or property maintenance field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC is required.
• Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Good physical condition and ability to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• A team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
