Steward Supervisor - Full Time - Maryland

Why We Need Your Talents:

The Steward Supervisor is charged with supervision of staff and processes to maintain control over all hotel/kitchen equipment, assuring proper cleaning and storage.

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Supervision of staff to include interviewing, training, performance management, disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.
• Responsible for scheduling to assure staffing levels consistent with budget and at the level to enhance the Maryland Live Casino guest gaming experience.
• Responsible for controlling, issuing and inventory of all equipment used in the restaurant, banquet room, room service, and bars.
• Responsible for overseeing the cleaning and storage of all wares used in food and beverage.
• Schedule cleaning of kitchen and banquet storage and organizing inventory.
• Ensure the safety and security of all employees and guest.
• Other duties as assigned.

Must-Haves:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two (2) years’ experience in a hotel or high volume kitchen area.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to walk extended distances during shifts.
• The team member is frequently (80%) required to stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and bend.
• The team member must occasionally (10%) lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
