Description

Water's Edge is currently accepting applications for a Spa Supervisor.

Located on the pristine shores of Long Island Sound, the Spa at Water's Edge offers guests an exceptional spa experience in a luxurious atmosphere.

The Spa Supervisor will coordinate the daily operations of the spa, ensuring exceptional guest service, a relaxing and rejuvenating spa experience, and adherence to the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism. Maximize guest satisfaction, revenue generation, and team performance.

Primary Tasks:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the spa, including reception, treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and retail areas.
  2. Supervise, train, and mentor spa therapists, estheticians, and other spa staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  3. Greet and welcome guests to the spa, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  4. Manage guest appointments, scheduling treatments, and coordinating therapist availability.
  5. Monitor guest satisfaction levels and address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  6. Ensure adherence to spa policies and procedures, including hygiene protocols, safety standards, and product usage guidelines.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the spa facilities, including treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and public spaces.
  8. Manage inventory of spa products, supplies, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
  9. Promote and sell spa services and retail products, providing guests with information and recommendations.
  10. Coordinate with other departments, such as front office and housekeeping, to ensure seamless guest service delivery.
  11. Implement strategies to maximize revenue generation and optimize spa operations.
  12. Maintain accurate records of guest appointments, treatments, and product sales.
  13. Assist with the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new spa staff.
  14. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of spa goals and strategies.
  15. Stay informed about current spa trends, treatments, and products.
  16. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Spa Manager / Spa Director.

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and industry best practices.
  • Requires frequent walking, standing, and bending.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry 25lbs.
  • May involve assisting guests with mobility needs.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a spa environment.
