As Spa Receptionist you will ensure that all guests are welcomed and received in accordance with The Red Carnation Hotel Collection Service Standards; that treatment reservations are taken and confirmed, whilst ensuring the highest possible occupancy in the spa.

Key responsibilities of the Spa Receptionist will include:

• Taking, recording and confirming spa reservation on Premier Spa
• Responding to all reception e-mails on day of receipt by close of business daily
• Reconciling, accounting for, and drop-saving all daily cash and credit card receipts
• Maximising revenue generating opportunities
• Orientating spa guests about the spa facilities and amenities in accordance with Red Carnation Hotel standards
• Completing the daily administrative and shift preparation functions for the Spa in accordance with Red Carnation Hotel standards

The ideal candidate for the Spa Receptionist should:

• Have Grade12 qualification
• Have 2 years’ reception experience in a 4/5* Hotel or spa establishment.
• Be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel
• Have experience of a Spa Management System
• Be highly presentable
• Have an excellent command of the English language with solid verbal and written communication skills
• Be able to work flexible working hours; shifts, week-ends, public holidays, extended hours to accommodate the changing needs of the business
