Role Overview:
The Spa Consultant will serve as a key leader overseeing the performance, training, and operational consistency of two spa locations within our boutique hotel collection. This position is ideal for a highly organized and passionate wellness professional with proven experience in spa operations, team development, and guest service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational oversight of two spa departments across our hotel properties.
- Lead all aspects of spa staff training, ensuring consistency in service delivery and treatment protocols in alignment with our brand standards.
- Partner with management on recruitment and onboarding of spa professionals.
- Conduct regular spa audits and walkthroughs to ensure facilities are pristine, well-maintained, and exceed guest expectations.
- Monitor guest feedback, evaluate service quality, and implement improvements where needed.
- Support menu development, product curation, and vendor relations to ensure both spas reflect innovation and luxury.
- Ensure that all regulatory, health, and safety standards are met across both properties.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in spa leadership or spa consulting, preferably within the luxury hospitality segment.
- Strong background in staff training, SOP development, and service execution.
- Demonstrated success overseeing multi-location spa or wellness operations.
- Deep knowledge of wellness trends, spa therapies, and luxury service standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Flexible and able to travel between properties as needed.
Credentials and Experience required:
- Demonstrated experience in Massage Therapy, preferably in a boutique hotel spa environment.
- Ability and willingness to be trained in our curated spa menu and company protocols/systems.
- Currently holds an active California state license in Massage Therapy
