Job Description

As a Security Officer - Hotel Resort Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated hotel and resort areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and high visibility. Your presence and professional demeanor will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff, while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address any security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted behaviors.
  • Document and report any incidents, suspicious activity, or hazards encountered during patrols or while on post.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to provide reassurance to guests and staff and help to deter potential issues.
  • Collaborate with hotel or resort management and/or law enforcement as needed for incident resolution and security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
