Sales & Catering Assistant

The Strathcona Hotel and Entertainment Center is looking for a dynamic, hands-on and experienced individual to join our existing team

Are you an event planner at heart, always on the look out for new and innovative ideas to plan your next big event? If so, then our Sales Assistant position may just be the opportunity you are looking for! This position is perfect for a person who thrives when working under pressure and will stop at nothing to ensure our clients return again and again for that Strath experience!

Qualifications:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of detail.
• Knowledge of local market trends and strong local connections.
• Serving It Right certification
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Minimum 5 years in Food & Beverage
• Experience in banquets & events preferred.
