Retail Receiving Supervisor

Scope of Position

The Retail Receiving Supervisor responsibilities include inventory control in merchandise receiving area, working with delivery personnel, and checking-in and counting merchandise received, and ensuring stock room is clean and organized.

Requirements

• Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment.
• Proficient with Jonas Software.
• Knowledge of Golf & Retail preferred.
• Cashier and financial skills required.
• Minimum of one (1) year retail supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely receipt of merchandise into inventory using Jonas software.
• Accurate and timely reconciliation of invoices and forwarding of all paperwork to the Accounting department.
• Ensure retail receiving and products/inventory is accurately accounted for.
• Liaise with guests and members to place special orders with vendors and assure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Assist General Manager with managing labor and expense budgets.
• Thorough knowledge of merchandise and equipment in order to assist guests with their purchases.
• Preparing invoices and accurately utilizing purchasing system to ensure timely payment for Accounting.
• Following-up with vendors and guests/members on special orders and order status.
• Mark new merchandise and restock.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.

Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), math skills to complete inventory counts and register reconciliations.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds.
• Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
