ABOUT THIS JOB

The Sheraton of Eatontown is seeking candidates to join our team in the role of Restaurant Manager. The Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of the Hotel’s on-site restaurant. If you're passionate about helping to make a great impression on each and every guest, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, supervise, and manage employees. Manage all day-to-day operations. Understand employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
  • Create an environment for employees aligned with the company culture through constant communication and      reinforcement.
  • Provide services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Properly handle cash and manage the restaurant’s inventory. 
  • Move throughout facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
  • Must be able to display ongoing proficiency in the use of all restaurant equipment, as well as be able to handle all business/administrative, management, technical, and training aspects of the restaurant.
  • Maintain accurate records of restaurant transactions. 

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years management or supervisory experience preferably in food and/or beverage service.
  • Experience in leading a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrate ability to relate to, communicate with and motivate employees to sustain high performance and      quality levels.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of restaurant system.
  • Bartending knowledge and experience.
