Job Title: Regional Hotel Director - Luxury Hotel Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a visionary, results-driven Regional Hotel Director to lead a small portfolio of high-end independent hotels and resorts across premier destinations. Based in New York City, this executive role is responsible for providing strategic leadership, driving operational excellence, enhancing brand value, and ensuring a world-class guest experience across our luxury properties.
Job Duties & Functions:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability for all properties within the portfolio.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure consistent operational standards, service excellence, and brand integrity across all hotels and resorts, working closely with property-level General Managers.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Design, implement, and enforce comprehensive SOPs across departments to ensure consistency, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery.
- Guest Experience Programs: Install and oversee signature guest service programs tailored to each property's unique identity, enhancing personalization and guest satisfaction at every touchpoint.
- Quality Control: Lead quality assurance initiatives, including regular audits, service evaluations, brand compliance checks, and ongoing staff training to uphold luxury standards.
- Financial Performance: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring. Drive cost control, yield management, and financial reporting to ensure strong ROI and EBITDA performance.
- Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing executive team and support property GMs in developing strong leadership pipelines within each hotel.
- Owner & Investor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with ownership groups and investment partners. Present financial updates and performance insights regularly.
- Brand Stewardship: Champion the individuality of each hotel while maintaining consistent luxury standards. Leverage marketing, PR, and design to elevate the guest experience.
- Expansion & Development: Identify growth opportunities, including new management contracts, acquisitions, or brand collaborations. Evaluate potential markets and partnerships.
Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge
- Minimum 7 years of hospitality experience, with at least 5 years in a GM/Managing Director level role overseeing multiple luxury or lifestyle hotels.
- Proven leadership experience in independent hotel or resort operations, ideally within an urban-luxury or boutique brand environment.
- Exceptional business acumen with a track record of delivering strong financial performance.
- In-depth knowledge of New York City's luxury market landscape; global exposure a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or executive education preferred.

Salary Range: $215,000 - $235,000 per year
