The Glass Light Hotel and Gallery in downtown Norfolk is seeking qualified candidates for the position of PT Night Audit. Our team will be actively engaged in creating unique experiences for guests unlike any other in the area, blending all service touch points and delivering warm, friendly and personalized service�.Exactly Like Nothing Else.

Summary:

This will be an integral position supporting the overall efforts of the hotel during the weekends, more specifically, must be able to work on Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays. Successful traits include a blend of hospitality and accounting. You will be the hotel leader during the overnight hours.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of guest interactions seamlessly executed across the PM/AM shifts.
• Answer incoming and in-house calls.
• Complete night audit functions as detailed in standard operating procedures.
• Respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Accurately account for financial transactions during the shift.
• Prepare guest billing for current and future days.
• Ensure the safety and security of all guests and associates.
• Provide accurate and timely communications across various departments via e-mail, text and written formats.
• Flexible schedule as hotel operates 24/7 365 days a year.
• Position will require extended time standing and walking.
• Must be able to valet cars late at night/early in the morning.
• Retrieve items/amenities for guests promptly.
• Be able to provide minimal maintenance assistance (training is provided).
• Must be able to work independently & provide exceptional guest service.
• Must be able to work Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays.
• Must be able to valet cars.
