Painter / Maintenance Technician

What are the responsibilities of a Painter/Maintenance Technician?
- Communicate clearly and perform consistently following the mission and values of the organization in our enthusiastic work environment
- Serve as the in-house painter and apply touch up paint to guest rooms and public areas as needed
- Primary resource for scheduled painting projects including conducting inventory and maintaining life cycle of paint supplies
- Passionately maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety at all times
- When not performing painting jobs, assist with various engineering tasks including:
- Promptly handle all guest and staff member requests that relate to equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.
- Maintain accurate ordering and stocking levels
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to efficiently perform required maintenance and service

- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report any unusual situations
What Skills and experience are desired for a Painter/Maintenance Technician?
- Schedule availability to include weekdays, weeknights and weekends
- Experience working in painting – 2 years or more preferred
- Friendly, energetic and detail-oriented
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong sense of urgency and initiative
