What are the responsibilities of a Painter/Maintenance Technician?
  • Communicate clearly and perform consistently following the mission and values of the organization in our enthusiastic work environment
  • Serve as the in-house painter and apply touch up paint to guest rooms and public areas as needed
  • Primary resource for scheduled painting projects including conducting inventory and maintaining life cycle of paint supplies
  • Passionately maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety at all times 
  • When not performing painting jobs, assist with various engineering tasks including:
    • Promptly handle all guest and staff member requests that relate to equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.
    • Maintain accurate ordering and stocking levels
    • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to efficiently perform required maintenance and service
    •  
    • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
    • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report any unusual situations
 
What Skills and experience are desired for a Painter/Maintenance Technician?
  • Schedule availability to include weekdays, weeknights and weekends
  • Experience working in painting – 2 years or more preferred
  • Friendly, energetic and detail-oriented
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and initiative
