*Part-time/PRN Days (<30 hrs/wk.)

Job Responsibilities for a Member Services Attendant:

  • Serves as the first point of contact to personally greet all customers and valet park vehicles.
  • Provides a safe and secure environment as a First Responder in all areas of The Garlands’ community.
  • Serves as liaison between The Garlands and emergency personnel, including the fire department, paramedics and 911.
  • Certified in using the AED & performing CPR. (required training provided)
  • Responds to medical emergencies by taking appropriate and immediate action to assist the individual(s) in distress.
  • Completes building security rounds.
  • Provides an array of services to Members (e.g. unloading vehicles, delivering packages and mail, transportation, dog walking, washing cars) 
  • Assists the Maintenance department with the snow removal, when necessary.

*Some weekends and holidays may be required

Qualifications

  • Proven strong customer service skills
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience and understanding
  • A current driver’s license in good standing
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays   
  • Capable of learning a variety of safety, security and emergency preparedness measures and be able to respond calmly and professionally to all situations
  • Excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
  • Experience working in or with Police or Fire Department may be helpful, but not required

Physical Requirements:

•    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
•    Must be able to walk and stand continuously
