The Massage Therapist provides professional massage therapies and body treatments tailored to individual guest needs, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role directly enhances the guest experience and contributes to the spa's reputation for excellence.

HOW YOU'LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

  • Deliver massage services using appropriate techniques, props, and products.
  • Provide body treatments, including scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy, while assessing guest needs and contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy).
  • Stay current with industry techniques and modalities.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, ensuring comfort and professionalism.
  • Prepare workstations and treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Regularly check in with guests to ensure comfort, safety, and satisfaction throughout treatments.
  • Promote and sell spa services and retail products.
  • Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms.
  • Monitor schedules and adhere to allotted treatment times.
  • Handle inappropriate guest behavior by following standard operating procedures and notifying supervisors as needed.
  • Maintain current skills and state licensure as required by regional regulations.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.
