Description

Position Summary:

As a Marketing Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Marketing, and Marketing & Social Media Content Manager. in the hotel’s ongoing effort to deliver outstanding service and profitability. Under the direction of the DOM, you are responsible to assist with matters pertaining to visual assets, verbal, and written messaging.


Tactical Marketing Execution Support:

The role will be filled by someone committed to performing the following tasks to the highest of standards.


Opens all jobs for all collateral needed by all departments with our outside design platform. After opening the jobs the role is responsible for facilitating the flow of jobs. Develop and update artwork for all corporate Point of Sale material (ie. flyers, brochures, signs, posters, menus, digital graphics), take a detailed brief from the requisitioning department, copy-write sourcing for suitable images, propose the most suitable layout as per the brand guidelines and ensure the artwork files are print-ready where necessary.


  • Assists in facilitating all messaging, positioning, and marketing strategies. Helps deliver content and provide proof reading of all copy.
  • Assists in the execution and updating of all internal/external marketing communications including website, emails, collateral, social media, imagery and copy.
  • Assist with the coordination of any marketing photos shoots, PR FAM trips or media visits to include but not limited to tours, confirmations, itinerary and coordination of welcome amenity.
  • Assists with the creation, scheduling, and engagement on social media channels.
  • Assists with updating the monthly and annual Hot Sheet, email calendar and social media, pr calendar.
  • Shared responsibility in keeping the website updated.
  • Where and when required, assists in posting/responding to reviews on social and 3rd party review sites, per the Managing Director.
  • Assists in developing and updating small graphic design concepts, presentations, digital banners and onsite electronic reader boards or in-room tv’s.


Administrative responsibilities include:

o Initiate PO’s and processing invoices as requested by the Managing Director and DoM

o Coordinate final art file to outside printers or other vendors.

o Facilitating day to day Marketing activities that lead to the completion of wider projects and tasks.

o Ad-hoc responsibilities as directed by the Managing Director and/or Director of Marketing.


Requirements

Experience and Education Required/Preferred

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or design preferred

Experience: minimum of 2 years of marketing experience in luxury or high-end hospitality industry preferred, minimum 1-year social media and or pr agency experience preferred. 1-year creative design.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to:

  • Adapt to moderate temperatures in the hotel as thermostat is controlled by hotel environmental systems. Most work tasks are performed indoors.
