Summary:

Assess vehicles and /or ice equipment to accurately diagnose and repair issues. Work well with other mechanics and guests in part of repairing equipment. Prepare an accurate log of work performed, prepare work estimates as requested. Maintain all garage equipment and tools to ensure they are kept in clean, safe and usable condition at all times. Adhere to company work safety policies, provide routine inspections of vehicles, and keep management informed of all issues.

Duties/Tasks Overview:

� Assess vehicles and/or ice equipment to accurately diagnose and repair issues

� Work well with others

� Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform management of any issues

� Prepare quotes and work estimates as requested between family of resorts

� Occasionally haul ice fishermen to fish houses as needed

� Keep an accurate log of all work performed

� Communicate effectively with colleagues, and other resort staff regarding activities, reservations, marina needs, problems, and customer satisfaction issues.

� Monitors and maintain inventory and adequate supplies for the marina.

� Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition

� Adhere to company work safety policies

EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent. Specialized training and experience in mechanical work desired. Ability to read, speak, write and understand the primary language of the workplace.

EXPERIENCE: Previous mechanic experience preferred. A general understanding of creating estimates, quotes and work logs preferred.

PHYSICAL: Requires lifting of up to 60 pounds on a regular and continuing basis. Grasping, writing, standing, sitting, climbing, walking, repetitive motions, listening ability, visual acuity and good speaking skills
