Maintenance Assistant (Hotel)

An exciting career opportunity as a Maintenance Assistant responsible for keeping the hotel facilities in optimum operating condition by performing preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs in all areas of the hotel.

Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidates will have some experience but it's not essential. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs.
• Performing preventative maintenance work throughout all areas of the hotel.
• Working in a safe manner and maintaining cleanliness and order in the hotel’s power plant areas
• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting and mopping to ensure the hotel is clean and presentable at all times.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Experience using hand and electrical tools
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• High school diploma or equivalent
