SUMMARY:
Responsible for scanning RFID tagged linen (check in/check out), processing of linen, and inputting/tracking data into Excel and Avancir RFID system.
Essential Functions:
Essential functions as defined are ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY and not a comprehensive listing of all functions and duties performed by incumbents within this classification. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Be yourself and care genuinely about each interaction you have. Nothing is more important than the moment you are in with each team member, owner, or guest.
- Using an RFID hand scanner to track linens on both exit and entry of the building.
- Assisting and supervising the Amenity Assistant Manager with maintaining a proper level of clean linen.
- Maintaining quantity and quality of whole owner (WO) linen and ensure sufficient readied par levels.
- Must handle various cleaning solvents and chemicals. Must comply with all regulations such as OSHA, SDS, State Health Department, etc.
- Able to answer laundry phones and relay information to the correct party via radio, email, or in person.
- Utilizing company email, Excel, and RFID software to track linen quantities.
- Assist with yearly inventory audit of linen.
- Uphold all company and department policies and procedures and assure that team members you supervise do the same.
- Assist team members in the cleanliness of public areas and assist with stocking supplies as needed.
- Use all required safety precautions in the performance of your duties.
- Assists with other duties as requested or assigned.
- Responsible for inventory levels of supplies used in common area and laundry.
- Complete monthly damage/stain report.
- Weekly, or as needed, create internal invoicing for outsourced linen laundering.
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and/or skill required.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must have good understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and other computer software.
- Prior experience working in commercial laundry and/or hospitality preferred.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.

- Must be able to maintain a fast efficient pace.
- Sewing experience preferred, not mandatory.
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
- Typical shifts are 8 hours. Training shifts must be Wednesday through Sunday from 8:00 – 4:30PM, with Monday and Tuesday off. After the initial training period (approximately two weeks), shift times and days off are flexible, with weekends and holidays not required.
- This is a 10-month year-round position; however, 12-month employment is possible if the candidate is open to assisting in other laundry or housekeeping areas.
