About the role

What you will do:

Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees responsible for preparation of all culinary items while ensuring superior quality and consistency.
To train, motivate, supervise and discipline all Chef’s working directly and indirectly in the kitchen.
To communicate regularly with the Executive Chef to achieve an excellent rapport throughout the food production department and in developing new menu items as well the quality of all food prepared in the kitchen he supervises.
Constantly inspect taste, temperature and visual appeal, make sure that all dishes are uniform and that established portion sizes are adhered to.
To ensure that proper H.A.C.C.P. procedures, including records keeping, are followed and the outlet are always clean, neat and tidy.
To establish together with your chef standard recipes and ensure compliance with them.
To be certified in Food Service Sanitation as available and to implement protocols.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

What you bring:

Excellent communication and organization skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
Have good administration and computer skill (Excel, Word).
Minimum of 3-5 years of operational kitchen experience with a diversity of culinary experience and a proven track record in fine dining & a high-end Asian and Western cuisine restaurant.
Supervisory and management experience is and culinary qualifications are essential.
HACCP certified would be an advantage.
