Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager at Qwabi Private Game Reserve is responsible for overseeing all people management and HR operations within the reserve. This role ensures compliance with company policies, labour legislation, and industry best practices while fostering a positive, ethical, and supportive workplace culture. The position provides both strategic and hands-on HR support to management and staff, driving employee engagement, talent development, and operational excellence within the lodge and reserve environment.

• Proven HR management experience within a hospitality, conservation, or lodge environment.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and HR management systems.
• Resilient, assertive, and capable of operating under pressure.
