This is an overnight position. Opportunity of receiving up to an additional $1/hr after 90 days
Summary:
Set-up and tear down of hard sets in the banquet rooms and/or areas for all Food & Beverage Functions. Full setup and tear down of all meeting functions including audio/visual equipment. Organize and maintain all banquet equipment. Maintain acceptable level of efficiency and cleanliness in all banquet areas including guest related areas and storage facilities.
Duties/Tasks:
Read and understand house person set-up sheets, instructions, B.E.O's and appropriate diagrams. Gather equipment and materials for functions as assigned. Set-up function area/rooms.
Tear down set-ups utilizing proper safety procedures and correct storage of equipment in an organizedArrive at schedule time in appropriate uniform and ready to work.
Set-up and refresh meeting functions as necessary.
Assist in the retrieval and storage of all banquet equipment
Assist in "Food Running" to appropriate banquet outlets
Maintain established levels of order and cleanliness in all banquet related areas. Perform all related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent work experience Must work well with or without direct supervision. Needs to be flexible, self- motivated, positive and have a professional attitude towards guests, co-worker and management.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 501bs. 90% walking, lifting and bending. 10% standing. Scheduled days and times may vary based on business need.
