Summing it up

The housekeeping manager oversees the housekeeping department and is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for all guests. They lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping team while ensuring all housekeeping staff follow the proper safety and sanitation standards for guest rooms and public spaces.  

What you'll be doing

  • Operate the department in accordance with policies, procedures, the annual plan and operating budget. 
  • Recruit, hire, and train perspective employees to ensure proper staffing levels for the housekeeping department. 
  • Foster a success oriented and accountable environment. 
  • Over see day to day operations of the housekeeping department. 
  • Coordinate cleaning schedule with True Key Vacations. 
  • Approve time off requests, payroll and ensure employee records are up to date. 
  • Daily communication of objectives and coordination with the team.

  • At least 2 year's experience as a housekeeping manager.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work, bend, crouch, climb stairs and be in motion/standing for prolonged periods.  
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
