Hotel Manager - 4-Star Hotel - Johannesburg

A well-established 4-star hotel in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth running of all departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, leadership, and customer service excellence.

• Oversee the hotel’s operations, ensuring high standards across all departments.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting to achieve business objectives.
• Supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Banqueting teams.
• Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Drive guest satisfaction by delivering consistent, exceptional service.
• Manage purchasing, stock control, and cost efficiency measures.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to department heads and staff.
• Promote hotel facilities, events, and special offers to enhance revenue and guest engagement.

• Grade 12 / Matric; a Diploma or Degree in Hotel or Operations Management preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in a 3- or 4-star hotel environment.
• Strong understanding of financial management, food & beverage, and front office operations.
• Proficient in hotel systems such as OPERA and Micros, and MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
