We are looking for a Lobby Porter, for a beautiful hotel Downtown Abilene, TXto help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and welcoming atmosphere of our hotel’s public areas. As a key member of the housekeeping team, you will ensure that lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other public spaces remain spotless and presentable for guests. Your role is essential in creating a first-class experience by keeping all guest areas clean, stocked, and ready to impress.
Pay: $15.00/hr - Paid Weekly!
Responsibilities for Lobby Porter:
- Maintain the cleanliness of hotel lobbies, entrances, hallways, restrooms, and other public areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Empty trash receptacles and restock essential supplies.
- Respond quickly to guest requests and report maintenance issues to management
- Assist with light maintenance tasks and report any needed repairs.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and assist with luggage or deliveries if needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of storage and supply areas.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies.
Qualifications for Lobby Porter:
- Prior experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or janitorial work preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry light to moderate loads and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.
