Guest Relations Agent - Luxury Hotel Group

We are looking for a warm, professional, and well-organised Guest Relations Agent to join a Front Office team at a luxury boutique hotel environment.

This role combines receptionist duties with high-level guest service. You will be the first and last point of contact for guests and play a key role in making sure every stay is smooth, personal, and memorable.

• Welcome guests and manage check-in and check-out
• Answer guest questions and handle concerns in a calm and professional way
• Assist with billing queries and explain hotel services clearly
• Answer phones, manage emails, and handle bookings using Semper
• Keep guest records updated, including preferences and special requests
• Build strong relationships with guests and anticipate their needs
• Arrange dining reservations (via Dineplan), spa bookings, and excursions
• Provide information on local attractions and events in Cape Town
• Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth service
• Handle wake-up calls, in-room dining requests, and other guest needs

• High school certificate or equivalent (hospitality qualification is an advantage)
• At least 1 year of experience in a guest-facing hospitality role
• Experience in a 5-star or luxury environment is preferred
• Experience using the Semper system is strongly preferred
• Basic to good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
• Professional appearance and friendly manner
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Well organised and able to work under pressure
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Travel experience (local or international) is an advantage
• Own transport preferred
