Introduction

Premier Hotels & Resorts is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Group Revenue Manager to maximise revenue, profitability, and market share across our growing hotel portfolio. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and implementing effective revenue management strategies, overseeing all distribution channels, forecasting, and reporting.

The position leads the Central Reservations Office (CRO) and a team of Revenue Managers, Analysts, and Content Administrators — ensuring alignment with group objectives and excellence across all guest communications. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving pricing strategy, performance reporting, and team development to ensure Premier Hotels & Resorts remains a market leader in hospitality.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute group-wide yield and pricing strategies to optimise ARR, occupancy, and RevPAR.

  • Lead and manage the Central Reservations Office (CRO) to ensure accuracy, service excellence, and conversion growth.

  • Oversee client quoting and proposal processes, ensuring competitive, professional, and timely responses.

  • Produce and present accurate revenue reports, forecasts, and market insights at group and property level.

  • Manage distribution channels (OTA, GDS, corporate, and direct) and ensure rate parity and content accuracy.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align pricing and promotional strategies.

  • Design and deliver structured training for reservations, banqueting, and front-office teams.

  • Maintain high standards of communication quality and professionalism across all platforms.

  • Ensure system integrity and optimisation across CRS, PMS, and Channel Manager environments.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Commerce, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in multi-property revenue management, including CRO oversight.

  • Demonstrated success managing OTA, GDS, and distribution platforms.

  • Experience leading and mentoring revenue management teams.

  • Strong understanding of South African hospitality market (corporate, leisure, and MICE).

  • Willingness to travel to properties as required.

  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and strategic planning skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of revenue management systems, distribution tools, and Excel.

  • Proven leadership, coaching, and communication abilities.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational capability.

  • Commercially minded with a passion for driving both revenue and guest satisfaction.
