We’re searching for a Full Time Valet/Parking Attendant to be responsible for providing excellent customer service while parking and retrieving guests’ vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. You will be the first and last point of contact for hotel guests, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.

What You'll Do:
- Greet guests warmly and offer assistance with parking upon arrival.
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely and organized manner.
- Ensure proper handling and care of guests' vehicles and personal belongings.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests with inquiries.
- Keep valet area clean, organized, and professional in appearance.
- Adhere to all safety and security guidelines for vehicle handling.
- Maintain accurate valet ticket system for vehicle tracking.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including resolving guest concerns promptly.
- Assist with luggage and other guest requests as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to greet guests with courtesy, patience, and attentiveness to ensure they feel welcomed and valued.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safe, defensive driving in tight or congested spaces, such as parking garages or hotel driveways.
- Proficient in operating various vehicle types, including sedans, SUVs, trucks, and luxury cars, as well as both automatic and manual transmissions.
- Ability to quickly and efficiently park and retrieve vehicles without sacrificing safety.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple vehicles at peak times, ensuring timely service for guests.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with other team members, including bellhops, front desk agents, and security staff.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations, such as during peak check-in or check-out times.
- Adherence to the hotel's dress code and maintaining a neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Ability to adapt to varying work environments and weather conditions, as valet attendants often work outdoors in both hot and cold climates.
- Reliable and punctual.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the hotel's operational needs.
- While not required to be a mechanic, having a general understanding of vehicle operations (e.g., jump-starting a battery, recognizing tire issues) can be helpful in addressing minor guest concerns quickly.
