INTRODUCTION TO ROLE 

The Front Desk Supervisor oversees pm front office operations to ensure the smooth running of the establishment. Key responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, supervising the front desk, overseeing room allocations and room readiness, allocating tasks, managing shifts, and resolving issues. This role collaborates closely with the Operations Manager and the General Manager to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Supervise daily property operations to ensure quality service and guest satisfaction.
  • Greeting and checking in guests, person in charge on pm shift.
  • Respond to guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain property appearance and cleanliness standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of public areas.
  • Train and mentor new employees, providing ongoing training for existing staff.
  • Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring timely ordering.
  • Support financial performance goals to optimize revenue and minimize expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, monitor hazards, and promote a safe work environment.
  • Regularly coordinate and support various departments to ensure smooth operation, efficient workflow, and adequate coverage.
  • Provide regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

The Front Office Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager

  • A minimum of 2 years of previous operations experience and focus on exceptional guest service. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently stands, walks, and reaches with hands and arms. The employee occasionally requires the ability to lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds. Travel not to exceed 10% if needed. 

The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and at times, you may be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for. We require each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset. This means you may be tasked with other functions and are expected to complete those tasks with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication as you would with your normal job duties.
