**Position Type:**Full Time Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at the Fairfield by Marriott Hotel. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. You will provide excellent customer service, assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, handle inquiries, and manage a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

   Guest Service Excellence:

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally as they arrive at the hotel.
  • Assist with check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Address guest concerns and issues promptly, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Administrative Support:

  • Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications in a timely manner.
  • Process reservations and cancellations accurately.
  • Manage guest billing, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
  • Ensure guest information is entered into the reservation system accurately.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Hotel Operations Support:

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
  • Ensure hotel lobby and common areas are clean, organized, and inviting.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and communicate feedback to management for continuous improvement.
  • Assist with inventory management of hotel supplies and amenities as needed.
  • Safety and Security:

  • Follow hotel security protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Monitor key distribution and ensure that room keys are managed properly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Previous Marriott front desk, customer service, or hospitality experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, hotel management software, etc.).
  • Positive, friendly attitude and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to operate a computer, phone, and other office equipment.
