We are looking for a motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong understanding of food and beverage operations. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day operations in our restaurant, bar, and event spaces, ensuring that guests receive an outstanding dining experience and that service standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the food and beverage team, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by monitoring guest satisfaction and addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in all areas, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Assist in managing inventory, placing orders, and ensuring adequate stock levels for all food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to ensure they meet performance standards and provide top-notch service.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement new menu items, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient service during peak times, providing hands-on support when needed.
  • Assist in scheduling staff, managing labor costs, and controlling budgets to ensure profitability.
  • Monitor and manage food and beverage costs, waste, and portion control.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports related to sales, inventory, and employee performance.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food and beverage management or supervisory role (at least 2-3 years).
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service standards, safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
  • Food safety and alcohol service certifications are preferred (such as ServSafe, TIPS, or equivalent).
