Job Summary: Supervises, leads and organizes all departments in the rooms operations, Front Office, Housekeeping, Security and Engineering Departments, to ensure that the highest standards of service, cleanliness and maintenance are met. Will report to the Resort Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Motivates, trains, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines all Room department managers and employees.
- Trains, motivates, evaluates, disciplines, assists, and guides the Rooms Division.
- Responsible for all Rooms Financial operations of the department, labor control and overall P&L.
- Inspects all public areas and guestrooms to ensure highest standards are met
- Performs administrative duties such as, but not limited to, departmental scheduling, payroll, purchase requests, monthly consumption reports, and checkbook analysis in any of the Rooms departments, as needed.
- Monitors progress and ensures completion of deep cleaning programs, preventative maintenance programs and all housekeeping projects/tasks.
- Monitors progress and ensures completion of all front office, guest services, concierge, front services and pool department programs and tasks.
- Schedules walk-through and follow ups with outside contracts, window cleaners, night cleaners and pest control, etc. as needed for any and all Rooms Division.
- Researches and obtains necessary quotes for supplies and expenses.
- Supports the full operational of the Rooms Division
- Perform line employee job functions in emergency situations.
- Performs a variety of other duties as assigned.
