Description

River Crest Country Club is seeking to add a Part-Time Custodian/Housekeeper for weekend shifts.  Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth’s oldest and most storied country club.

This is a week-end position. River Crest offers an excellent Compensation & Benefits Package as well as a great work environment. The pay range for this position is $15 - $17 per hour based on verifiable experience.

Part-time employees are offered participation in our 401(k) plan after 1 year and have worked over 1,000 hours.

JOB SUMMARY 

The Housekeeper/Custodian is responsible for cleaning all Club areas and reporting any damage or maintenance problems to the Building Maintenance or Housekeeping Departments. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Good Member relations skills are required
  • Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions
  • Must present a neat and clean personal appearance
  • Must have timely, reliable attendance
  • Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward members, guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors
  • A high school education or equivalent is required

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS

  • Cleans indoor furniture to include, but not limited to:
    • Dusting
    • Disinfecting telephones
    • Polishing brass and silver
    •  
  • Cleans bathrooms to include, but not limited to:
    • Toilets
    • Sinks and counters
    • Showers
    • Mirrors
  • Cleans floors and carpets to include, but not limited to:
    • Vacuuming
    • Mopping
    • Sweeps patio area(s) and employee entrance hallway
    • Empties wastebaskets throughout the Club
  • Reports maintenance problems to the Building Maintenance or Housekeeping departments, including, but not limited to:
    • Property damage
    • Burned out light bulbs
    • Plumbing problems
  • Complete other duties as assigned or directed
  • Determines when damage and maintenance issues need to be reported to department heads; and prioritizes work areas to be completed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach
  • Must be able to work with cleaning supplies and chemicals
  • Use of hands and arms to handle, position, move materials, and manipulate things
  • Ability to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs
