Premier Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Account Manager to manage and grow relationships within the corporate, government, and parastatal segments. As part of our national sales team, you will represent our diverse portfolio of hotels across South Africa, ensuring Premier Hotels & Resorts remains the preferred accommodation and conferencing partner for business and government travel.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share within corporate and government segments.
Identify, secure, and manage key national and regional accounts, ensuring strong client relationships and repeat business.
Proactively source new business opportunities through tenders, procurement platforms, and direct engagement.
Collaborate with hotel General Managers and the national sales team to deliver tailored proposals and account solutions.
Represent the brand at business travel events, trade shows, and networking engagements.
Monitor account performance, negotiate rate agreements, and ensure contract compliance.
Work closely with Revenue and Marketing teams to optimise corporate packages and promotional opportunities.
Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ proven sales or key account management experience in hospitality, travel, or corporate sales.
Demonstrated success in managing corporate and/or government accounts.
Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and corporate travel dynamics.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Highly organised, target-driven, and self-motivated.
Based in Cape Town, with willingness to travel nationally when required.
