Cleaning Supervisor (sarasota hotel)

Pay Rate: $23-$30 depending on certifications and experience

Expected Hours: 35–37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Locations: Sarasota Hotel

Job Type: Full-time, In-Person

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Cleaner will be responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of large commercial buildings

and public facility areas. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties and delegate tasks

• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching

• Receive complaints and resolve problems

• Maintain timekeeping and personnel records

• Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa

• Prepare and submit performance reports

• Remove trash and debris; clean interior sliding glass doors and windows

• Clean and disinfect kitchens, bathrooms, fixtures, appliances, and cabinets

• Clean mechanical rooms (pipes, A/C unit, water heater, etc.)

• Sweep, vacuum, mop all rooms, terraces, and closets

• Dust and wipe down hard surfaces, window sills, HVAC vents, and more

• Remove protective coverings and labels from fixtures and surfaces

• Perform other janitorial and maintenance tasks as assigned

Important: Scrubbing cabinets is not allowed due to risk of damage. Any excessive debris must

be reported immediately.

Qualifications:

● Must have reliable transportation to get to job site.

● Must have 1 year Supervisor experience

● Experience: Minimum 1 year of janitorial experience (Required)

● Language: English (Preferred)

● Must be 18 years or older

● Must pass a mandatory background check prior to employment

● Must have a working mobile phone with the ability to download and use work-related

apps

● Must be able to use a phone app for completing location reports

● Must have good verbal and written communication skills

● Must be authorized to work in the United States

● Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if

needed

● Must be able to relocate to Sarasota, FL area before starting work (if not already located

there)
