We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality food, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and supporting culinary innovation through teamwork and consistency.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all food items according to established preparation and presentation standards

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary production area and follow all food safety and WHMIS regulations

  • Adhere to personal hygiene standards and all sanitary codes

  • Help manage food and labour costs by following chef-assigned duties

  • Communicate with restaurant staff, line cooks, and the Food Services Manager to support guest satisfaction

  • Ensure stock levels are maintained and items are properly stored and labeled

  • Maintain professionalism and stay aware of current culinary trends

  • Take full responsibility for the kitchen when the Chef is absent, including cleanliness and purchasing

  • Participate in banquet and outlet service, and build strong working relationships within the team

  • Contribute to menu planning by reviewing seasonal availability and current sales performance

  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Chef, Director of Operations, or General Manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting

  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation practices

  • Ability to work independently and lead the kitchen in the Chef’s absence

  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude

  • Understanding of WHMIS and food production regulations

  • Flexibility to support both banquet and restaurant service as needed
